About Marine North

Marine North is a locally owned and operated business and has been established since 1985. Paul and Tania are the current owners having purchased Marine North in November 2006.

The team at Marine North takes pride in going the extra mile for our customers. From listening to our customers we are able to provide our customers with tailored boat packages to suit personal requirements. Marine North have a great range of used boats as well as being a dealership for some of the most recognised brands in New Zealand waters: Stabicraft, Haines Hunter, Fyran and Southern Lazer.

Need a new outboard for your boat? Not a problem! Marine North have a fantastic range of new Yamaha and Evinrude E-Tec motors. How about a used outboard ? All our used outboards have been mechanically checked to insure they are in good working order before going out on the shop floor. Also a pre-delivery check is done.

We also stock a full range of boat parts and accessories. From GPS systems to replacement trailer lights. If you've lost an anchor, need more rope or just can't find that bung - we can help!

Marine North is complete with a comprehensive workshop for all your servicing needs. Rest assured, your baby will be in safe hands.

Paul & Tania Dunn - Owner/Operators After spending 7 years living in Asia where Paul was a project manager for Nokia, Tania and Paul returned to their home base in Whangarei and took over Marine North. They have the passion and vision required to drive an already successful business to even higher levels. Tania is in accounts, Paul General Manager /General dogs body and can be found anywhere from under an engine cowling to closing a boat sale. Our whole team enjoys being on the water either it be fishing, diving or just being out. Check out our new Demonstrator! Boats are our passion too.

Jon and Stan - Sales Both Jon & Stan collectively come with over 20 years experience with selling Boats and Motors. They are ready to help you design a boat package that suits your boating needs and back pocket. Let them help make your dreams become a reality.

Daniel - Fit out/rigging of Boats Daniel came to Marine North from having spent the past 11 years with Haines Hunter fitting out there boats. Daniel has a wealth of knowledge of parts and accessories and with a passion of boating himself, does a fantastic job of fitting out/rigging of our boats.

Aaron, Bruce & Steve - Workshop We are authorised service agents for Yamaha and Evinrude ETEC outboards. Our technicians are fully qualified and have been on extensive training both in NZ and overseas.
